Suhayla Bazbaz Kuri

Suhayla Bazbaz Kuri founded and directs Community Cohesion and Social Innovation since 2009. She is a political scientist and internationalist specialised in human rights, public participation, sustainable development and gender-based approaches. She coordinates the Initiative for Chiapas and the Yucatan Peninsula (IPYUCC) to reduce power and information asymmetries faced by indigenous and afromexican peoples, women and youths to participate and advocate throughout the decision-making cycle regarding megaprojects likely to affect them as well as the co-administration for Mexico of the Early Warning System.
